This is a very interesting video that I wanted to
share here. It is very motivator.
It seems that
"procrastination" is not bad, actually. It is related with
creativity. Like Adam Grant says: Procrastination
is a vice when it comes to productivity, but it can be a virtue for
creativity.
It's much easier to improve on
somebody else's idea than it is to create something new from scratch. Of course it is! What do
philosophers do? They "just" create something new from another thing
which already exists. The
first-mover advantage is mostly a myth. We have to be quick to start but slow to finish,
that's the secret of success.
For example, the more you delay
finishing a book, the better will be the quality of it.
And the most important: don't be quiet ever.

aquí. Es muy motivador.
Parece que la "procrastinación" no es mala en
realidad. Está relacionada con la creatividad. Como Adan Grant dice: La procrastinación es un vicio
cuando se trata de la productividad, pero puede ser una virtud para la
creatividad.
Es mucho más fácil mejorar la idea de alguien que crear
algo nuevo de cero. ¡Por supuesto que lo
es! ¿Qué hacen los filósofos? Ellos "solo" crean algo nuevo partiendo
de otra cosa que ya existe. El
movimiento pionero es mayormente un mito. Tenemos que ser rápidos para empezar pero lentos
para terminar, ese es el secreto del éxito.
Por ejemplo, cuanto más se tarde en finalizar un libro,
mejor será su calidad.
Y lo más importante: nunca te calles.
